Contre toute attente, Heidi fit un autre rêve. Très déçue, à son réveil, elle le consigna néanmoins sur son téléphone comme tous les autres.

Against all expectations, Heidi had another dream. Very disappointed, she nevertheless recorded it on her phone like all the others when she woke up.

Voici les détails.

La princesse Adonia annonçait à Margrave que tout était fini.

- Je suis venue avec Levane et Chauvellard qui pourront vous le confirmer.

Here are the details.

Princess Adonia announced to Margrave that it was all over.

"I came with Levane and Chauvellard, who can confirm this."

Chauvellard lui explique que j'ai rencontré le roi, qu'il sait qui je suis et qu'elle doit me rendre le cœur de cristal, puisque c'était ma quête et qu'elle est accomplie.

Chauvellard explains her that I met the king, that he knows who I am, and that she must return the crystal heart to me, since it was my quest and it has been completed.

Il ajoute qu'il est parvenu à déchiffrer la majeure partie du Livre des Souvenirs à venir, ce qui lui a permis de guider l'archer dans l'aide qu'il m'apporte et d'aider le mage Equibus à contrer les malédictions et les sortilèges de Botulff.

He adds that he managed to decipher most of the Book of Memories yet to come, and that this allowed him to guide the archer in the help he is giving me and to help the mage Equibus counter Botulff's curses and spells.

- C'est fini Margrave. Vous devez me donner le cœur de cristal afin que je le rende à ma sœur Heidi.

"It's over, Margrave." You must give me the crystal heart so I can return it to my sister Heidi.

Margrave est anéantie. Sa voix est empreinte de panique.

- Si je fais cela, Botulff me tuera. Depuis mon enfance, il m'a manipulée pour que je séduise votre père, le roi, afin d'étendre son pouvoir sur tout le royaume, et probablement au-delà. Si je lui désobéis, je ne lui serai plus d'aucune utilité, et il me tuera pour se venger d'avoir contrecarré ses plans. Il nous tuera tous ! Vous ne pouvez pas imaginer sa puissance.

Margrave is devastated. Her voice is filled with panic.

"If I do that, Botulff will kill me. Since I was a child, he's manipulated me into seducing your father, the king, so he can extend his power over the entire kingdom and probably beyond. If I disobey him, I'll be useless to him, and he'll kill me to avenge myself for thwarting his plans. He'll kill us all! You can't imagine his power."

Levane lui parle..

- Le mage Equibus est puissant lui aussi. Et Chauvellard et Villequin vous protégeront.

Levane speaks to her.

"The mage Equibus is powerful too. And Chauvellard and Villequin will protect you."

Mais je vois la princesse et l'ermite échanger un regard dubitatif. Ils savent tous deux que Botulff est dangereux et qu'il ne sera pas facile de lui échapper.

But I see the princess and the hermit exchange a look of doubt. They both know that Botulff is dangerous and that escaping him won't be easy.

Margrave réfléchit un moment.

- De toute façon, il me tuera même si j'atteins son but, épouser le roi, car je deviendrais un témoin dangereux de ses agissements

Margrave thinks for a moment.

“In any case, he’ll kill me even if I achieve his goal of marrying the king, because I would become a dangerous witness to his actions.”

Elle dénoua alors les fils d'or qui retenaient le cœur de cristal autour de son cou et le tendit à la princesse Adonia. Elle hésita un instant encore, puis demanda :

- Heidi elle-même pourra-t-elle m'aider ? 

Then she untied the golden threads that held the crystal heart around her neck and handed it to Princess Adonia. She hesitated for a moment longer and asked,

“Will Heidi herself be able to help me?”

- Je n'en ai nul doute quand elle comprendra que vous ne faisiez qu'obéir sous la peur, répondit la princesse.

“I have no doubt she will, once she understands that you were only obeying out of fear,” replied the princess.

- Nous devons repartir maintenant, dit Chauvellard.

Levane lui dit d'être prudente.

- Dites à Botulff que vous avez égaré le médaillon, que vous l'aviez placé au même endroit que d'habitude hier soir et qu'il n'y était plus ce matin. Agissez comme si vous étiez furieuse de l'avoir perdu et faites retourner vos appartements de fond en comble par les servantes pour le chercher, puis étendez les recherches aux salles communes où vous allez régulièrement. Cela nous fera gagner du temps.

“We must leave now,” said Chauvellard.

Levane told her to be careful.
"Tell Botulff you've misplaced the locket, that you had placed it in the same spot as usual last night and that it was no longer there this morning. Act as if you're furious about losing it, and have the maids turn your rooms upside down to look for it. Then extend the search to the common rooms you frequent. This will save us time."

Je me suis réveillée avec ces derniers mots. J'ai enregistré ce message pour ne rien oublier, comme d'habitude, mais je ne pense pas pouvoir me rendormir. J'étais si certaine que ces rêves cesseraient dès que ma propre quête serait terminée. Apparemment pas, et je dois poursuivre la quête de l'Heidi de mes rêves. Je crois que je vais lire un peu pour me changer les idées.

Quelques minutes plus tard, Nina arrivait dans la chambre d'Heidi.

- J'ai vu la lumière sous ta porte en allant me chercher à boire. Tu n'arrive pas à dormir ? 

- C'est juste que j'ai encore fait un de ces rêves bizarres alors que je pensais qu'ils auraient cessé puisque je sais tout ce que je voulais savoir et que je connais désormais mon père et sa version de l'histoire avec ma mère. Mon subconscient aurait dû balayer toutes ces histoires invraisemblables de sorciers mystérieux, mais il semble qu'elles hantent encore mes nuits

I woke up to those last words. I recorded this message so I wouldn't forget anything, as usual, but I don't think I'll be able to go back to sleep. I was so certain these dreams would stop the moment my own quest was over. Apparently not, and I must continue the quest of the Heidi of my dreams. I think I'll read a little to take my mind off things.

A few minutes later, Nina arrived in Heidi's room.

"I saw the light under your door when I went to get a drink. Can't you sleep?"

"It's just that I had another one of those bizarre dreams, even though I thought they'd stopped since I know everything I wanted to know and I now know my father and his side of the story with my mother. My subconscious should have swept away all those far-fetched tales of mysterious wizards, but it seems they still have to haunt my nights."-

Alors ? On reprend les bonnes vieilles méthodes : un thé aux fruits devant un bon vieux film ? Ça te dit ? proposa Nina.

"So? Shall we go back to the good old ways: fruit tea in front of a good old movie? Sounds good?" suggested Nina.
