Ce soir, blottis l'un contre l'autre dans la douceur de leur grand lit, Guylaine et Wash regardaient encore et encore, et écoutaient encore et encore, le contenu de la clé USB que leur as remis la technologue. 

Tonight, snuggled up against each other in the softness of their big bed, Guylaine and Wash watched over and over, and listened over and over, to the contents of the USB drive the technologist had given them.

- Il est tellement mignon, si petit et si... vivant ! Et dire que je ne le sens même pas alors qu'il gigotte.

- Ça viendra vite, sois patiente. Mais, je te rappelle que je suis certain que c'est une "elle", pas un "il" ! Tu sais, j'ai aussi hâte que toi de LA sentir bouger.

"He is so cute, so tiny and so... alive! And to think I can't even feel it while he's wiggling around."
"That will come soon, be patient. But let me remind you, I am positive it's a 'she,' not a 'he'! You know, I'm just as excited as you are to feel HER move."

- Au fait, la date de conception était le 1er août. Ça te dit quelque chose ? demande Guylaine d'un ton taquin. 

"By the way, the conception date was August 1st. Does that ring a bell?" Guylaine asked teasingly.

- Non, pas à première vue. Qu'y a-t-il eu le premier août ? 

- Ce n'est pas ce qu'il y a eu, mais ce que nous avons fait ! J'ai regardé l'agenda sur mon téléphone ; nous étions partis en forêt chercher des photos d'oiseaux.

- Oui, comme on l'a fait souvent cet été. Et qu'avons-nous fait ?

- Essaie de te souvenir ! Il faisait très chaud ce jour là...

"No, not at first glance. What happened on August first?"
"It’s not what happened, but what we did! I checked the calendar on my phone; we had gone into the forest to look for photos of birds."
"Yes, like we did often this summer. And what did we do?"
"Try to remember! It was very hot that day..."

- Oh... ! Tu veux dire que c'est le jour où tu as voulu qu'on imite mes arrière-grands-parents .........!!  (revoir ICI ).

- C'est exactement ça !

"Oh...! You mean that's the day you wanted us to imitate my great-grandparents.........!!" (see HERE).
"That's exactly it!"

Wash éclate de rire.

- Eh bien, si elle vient de là, je serais prêt à parier que notre Petite brume va adorer se promener en forêt !!! 

Wash burst out laughing.
"Well, if she comes from there, I'd be willing to bet our Little haze is going to love going for walks in the forest!!!"
