Aujourd'hui, Pretty lady (Journey girl) est allée à l'aéroport avec ti-drew (My life as) pour accueillir une amie hawaïenne qui arrivait de sa merveilleuse ile de Oahu.

Elle s'appelle Nanea, c'est une poupée American Girl que je voulais depuis longtemps parce que j'aime la douceur et l'innocence de son expression ; par chance, la période de Pâques fut très chanceuse pour moi puisque j'ai remporté 3 enchères de poupées AG à des prix sages. Nanea est donc la première arrivée ; vous verrez bientôt les 2 autres.

Comme toutes les American Girls de la série Beforever, cette poupée porte un nom car elle représente une personne : Nanea Mitchell, une jeune hawaïenne qui, pendant la guerre, après l'attaque de Pearl Harbour en 1941, a fait largement sa part pour aider et soigner des gens.

Elle est arrivée dans sa tenue d'origine (sauf la fleur dans ses cheveux)... parfaite pour Hawaï, mais vraiment très légère pour un début d'avril canadien ; je suis en train de lui préparer une tenue chaude pour vite la mettre dans le contexte météorologique du pays !

Voici donc Nanea, et son arrivée à l'aéroport de Montréal ! (montage graphique que j'ai fait avec Photoshop d'après une de mes photos, détourée et transférée sur une autre photo du point de rencontre de l'aéroport).

Today, Pretty lady (Journey girl) went to the airport with ti-drew (My life as) to greet a Hawaiian friend who was arriving from her marvelous island of Oahu.

Her name is Nanea, she an American Girl doll I wanted for a long time because I like the sweetness and innocence of her expression; Luckily, the Easter period was very lucky for me because I won 3 auctions of AG dolls at reasonable prices. Nanea is therefore the first arrival; you will soon see the other 2.

Like all American Girls from the Beforever series, this doll has a name because she represents a person : Nanea Mitchell, a young Hawaiian who, during the war, after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, made a large part to help and care for people.
She arrived in her original outfit (except the flower in her hair) ... perfect for Hawaii, but really light for a Canadian start of April !! I'm preparing her a warm outfit to quickly put her in the meteorological context of the country!
