Nous retrouvons une fois de plus les membres de l'association des Mots et des Mailles. Cette fois, le groupe de copines est au complet.

Heidi vient de raconter son dernier rêve (revoir ICI).

"J'ai toujours espéré avoir un frère ou une sœur quelque part dans le monde, et qu'un jour je les retrouverais. Je suppose que c'est pour ça que je rêve de cette princesse et de son père, qui serait aussi le mien".

"C'est certain, et je pense que cette fois, tu ne devrais pas trop t'attarder sur ce rêve, qui ne fait que refléter ce que tu as toujours espéré".

"Tu vois, c'est exactement ce que je te disais quand tu m'en as parlé l'autre matin. J'espère que tu n'es pas déçue", dit gentiment Nina.

"Bien sûr que non ! Ce ne sont que des rêves après tout".

"C'est OK, alors. J'étais juste inquiète parce que tu semblais les prendre très au sérieux. Mais si tu les prends comme ça, c'est parfait".

 "Assez parlé de moi. Et toi, Jasmine ? Qu'as-tu fait pendant ces jours où tu as disparu et pour lesquels j'ai dû te donner les notes des cours magistraux que tu as séchés ?!"

"C'est vrai ça ! Qu'est-ce que tu as donc fait durant ton absence.... vu que Nabil était aussi absent du chalet !".

"Eh bien, nous avons passé deux jours merveilleux dans un hôtel spa, puis nous avons flâné dans le Vieux-Québec et nous avons savouré un excellent repas au restaurant du Château Frontenac. Le temps était affreux, mais peu importe, c'était génial, on avait l'impression de faire l'école buissonnière comme des enfants, c'était parfait pour vraiment apprendre à se connaître".

Silencieuse pendant quelques instants, Jasmine semble revivre ces moments.

Puis elle s'adresse à Suzanne.

"Suzanne, je ne vous remercierai jamais assez de m'avoir ouvert une voie en me faisant remarquer qu'il était un bon gros nounours sous ses dehors de macho insouciant (revoir ICI). C'est ce qui m'a progressivement amenée à le considérer comme plus qu'un simple ami".

"Tu m'en vois ravie. J'aimerais que tout le monde sur cette planète soit heureux, mais comme c'est impossible, au moins que ceux qui m'entourent le soient ; c'est déjà ça".

"J'en ai marre de le voir toujours avec son vieux pull vert, alors j'ai acheté de la laine beige et je vais essayer de reproduire le joli pull que Tina et Aslan ont acheté pour leurs fiançailles. Je ne suis pas vraiment une experte en tricot, mais je devrais y arriver, tranquillement, et avec votre aide".

"Oh, écoutez la donc ! C'est trop mignon !!! Je craque !" s'exclame Heidi.

Quelques instants plus tard, l'objet de ces discussions faisait son entrée dans le local de l'association.

Après quelques salutations, et bien qu'elle s'en doute parfaitement, Suzanne lui demande ce qu'il vient faire. 

"On a terminé notre sortie en forêt plus tôt que prévu, parce qu'Oona voulait parler à Éric au sujet des ours qui commencent à se réveiller, alors je suis venu chercher Jasmine".

"Comment ça : tu es venu me chercher. On n'avait rien prévu, et je n'ai pas terminé ici".

Nabil semble décontenancé.

"Mais, bébé, j'avais envie de te voir, et je voulais t'inviter pour aller manger vite fait chez McDo puis ensuite aller voir Frissons 7 ; tu m'as dit l'autre jour que tu avais envie de le voir..."

"Bon, dans ces conditions, ça va. Et le programme me plait tout à fait. Mais la prochaine fois, tu m'envoie d'abord un texto pour savoir si je suis dispo, OK ?"

Quand Nabil répondit aussitôt "D'accord, bébé", Suzanne a eu du mal à cacher son sourire... Où est donc passé le macho dont elle avait tant entendu parler ?!!

We meet again with the members of the Words and Stitches association. This time, the group of friends is all together.

Heidi has just recounted her latest dream (watch it HERE).
"I've always hoped to have a brother or sister somewhere in the world, and that one day I would find them. I suppose that's why I dream about this princess and her father, who would also be mine."
"That's for sure, and I think that this time, you shouldn't dwell too much on this dream, which only reflects what you've always hoped for."

"You see, that's exactly what I was telling you when you mentioned it the other morning. I hope you're not disappointed," Nina said kindly.
"Of course not! They're just dreams after all."
"That's OK, then. I was just worried because you seemed to be taking them very seriously. But if you're taking them that way, that's perfect."

"Enough about me. And you, Jasmine? What did you do during those days you were gone, the days I had to give you the notes from the lectures you skipped?!"
"That's right! What did you do while you were gone... since Nabil was also away from the cottage!"

"Well, we spent two wonderful days at a spa hotel, then we strolled around Old Quebec and enjoyed a delicious meal at the Château Frontenac restaurant. The weather was awful, but it didn't matter, it was great. We felt like we were playing hooky like kids; it was perfect for really getting to know each other."

Silent for a few moments, Jasmine seemed to be reliving those moments.
Then she turns to Suzanne.
"Suzanne, I can't thank you enough for showing me that he's a big softie beneath his carefree, macho exterior (see HERE). It's what gradually led me to see him as more than just a friend."

"I'm so glad. I wish everyone on this planet could be happy, but since that's impossible, at least those around me can be; that's something."

"I'm tired of seeing him always in his old green sweater, so I bought some beige yarn and I'm going to try to make the lovely sweater Tina and Aslan bought for their engagement. I'm not exactly an expert knitter, but I should be able to manage, slowly but surely, with your help."
"Oh, listen to her! It's so cute!!! I'm smitten!" exclaims Heidi.

A few moments later, the subject of these discussions entered the association's premises.
After a few greetings, and although she fully suspected as much, Suzanne asked him what he was doing there.
"We finished our walk in the forest earlier than planned because Oona wanted to talk to Eric about the bears starting to wake up, so I came to get Jasmine."

"What do you mean, you came to get me? We hadn't planned anything, and I didn't finish here."
Nabil seemed taken aback.
"But, baby, I really wanted to see you, and I wanted to invite you for a quick bite at McDonald's and then go see Shivers 7; you told me the other day you wanted to see it..."
"Okay, that's fine. And I really like the plan. But next time, you'll text me first to see if I'm free, OK?"

When Nabil immediately replied, "Okay, baby," Suzanne had a hard time hiding her smile... Where had the macho guy she'd heard so much about gone?!
