Wash et Guylaine flânaient main dans la main, savourant leur douce solitude, comme tous les amoureux.

Wash and Guylaine strolled hand in hand, feeling utterly alone in their sweet world.

En réalité, ils n'étaient pas si seuls, puisqu'ils croisèrent quelques oiseaux, dont ces spécimens de quatre espèces différentes.

Actually, they weren't so alone, since they came across a few birds, including these examples of four different species.

Il se sont amusés à observer un groupe de jeunes sittelles à poitrine rousse juvéniles, tout juste sorties du nid. Comme celle-ci....

They amused themselves by observing a group of young red-breasted nuthatches, just fledged from the nest. Like this one...

 …qui s'impatientait car sa mère tardait à venir la nourrir (en fait, elle avait cinq oisillons à nourrir, et ils étaient tous aussi impatients que celle-ci, piaillant et battant des ailes).

…who was getting impatient because her mother was taking too long to come and feed her (in fact, she had five chicks to feed, and they were all just as impatient as she was, squawking and flapping their wings)..

Et un balbuzard pêcheur qui survolait la rivière. 

And an osprey flying over the river.

Remarquez que Guylaine n'a pas pu résister à l'envie de photographier cet adorable jeune écureuil roux,, bien que Wash lui ait rappelé qu'elle empiétait là sur le domaine animalier de Nabil et Oona !

Note that Guylaine couldn't resist photographing this adorable young red squirrel, despite Wash's warnings that she was encroaching on Nabil and Oona's territory!
