Il y a quelques jours, Tina et Aslan sont allés faire une sortie photo à moto. À midi, ils se sont installés à une table de pique-nique pour déjeuner.

Et ils ont reparlé de leur mariage, car ils n'ont toujours pas choisi leurs tenues.

Ils souhaitent une cérémonie simple et sans prétention, car les cérémonies fastueuses leur paraissent artificielles et leur semblent masquer l'authenticité de l'acte. Lorsqu'ils l'ont expliqué à leurs proches, ils leur ont dit que pour eux, le mariage est avant tout la célébration d'un engagement sincère entre deux personnes, entourées de leur famille et de leurs meilleurs amis ; un objectif trop souvent perdu de vue dans l'organisation de cérémonies à tralala. Et ce n'est pas du tout leur style.

Ils ont donc prévu une cérémonie civile à la mairie d'Orford, célébrée par le maire dans l'après-midi, en présence du père d'Aslan (seul car veuf) et de la mère de Tina (seule car divorcée). Ariane et Éric seront leurs témoins, et ils seront entourés de leurs camarades, c'est tout (ils n'ont pas de frères et sœurs). Ensuite, une petite fête aura lieu au chalet, puis ils iront tous dîner dans un restaurant à Magog, au bord du lac.

Mais ils ne savent toujours pas quoi porter ! Ils en discutèrent à nouveau et se mirent à rire en imaginant des tenues de plus en plus ridicules.

"Et s'il fait chaud, je pourrais être en maillot de bain de Miss Monde !!!!"

"Pourquoi pas ! Et s'il fait froid, moi, je me déguise en Elvis Presley !"

"Avec ou sans guitare ?!!!"

Ils passèrent un excellent moment à plaisanter et à imaginer les suggestions les plus farfelues.

Mais à la fin du repas, ils n'avaient toujours pas pris de décision !

Dans l'après-midi, les nuages ​​arrivèrent. L'air était lourd et orageux.

Puis le vent se leva et le ciel s'assombrit soudainement. Ils avaient beau admirer les contrastes magnifiques offerts par les nuages et la lumière, ils n'en prirent que quelques photos puis rentrèrent rapidement et arrivèrent au chalet juste à temps : quelques instants plus tard, le ciel se déchaîna, d'abord par un orage sec, puis par une averse torrentielle.

A few days ago, Tina and Aslan went for a motorcycle photoshoot. At noon, they sat down at a picnic table for lunch.

And they talked about their wedding again, as they still hadn't chosen their outfits.

They want a simple and unpretentious ceremony, because lavish ceremonies seem artificial to them and appear to mask the authenticity of the act. When they explained this to their loved ones, they told them that for them, marriage is first and foremost the celebration of a sincere commitment between two people, surrounded by their family and friends; an objective too often lost sight of in the organization of elaborate ceremonies. And that's not their style at all.

So they planned a civil ceremony at Orford town hall, officiated by the mayor in the afternoon, in the presence of Aslan's father (a widower) and Tina's mother (also a divorcee). Ariane and Éric will be their witnesses, and they'll be surrounded by their friends, that's all (they have no siblings). Afterwards, a small party will be held at the cottage, then they'll all go to dinner at a restaurant in Magog, by the lake.

But they still don't know what to wear! They discussed it again and started laughing as they imagined increasingly ridiculous outfits.

"And if it's hot, I could wear a Miss World swimsuit!"

"Why not! And if it's cold, I'll dress up as Elvis Presley!"

"With or without a guitar?!"

They had a wonderful time joking around and brainstorming the most outlandish suggestions.

But by the end of the meal, they still hadn't made a decision!

In the afternoon, the clouds rolled in. The air was heavy and stormy.

Then the wind picked up and the sky suddenly darkened. Although they admired the magnificent contrasts between the clouds and the light, they only took a few photos before heading back to the cabin, arriving just in time: a few moments later, the heavens opened, first with a dry thunderstorm, then with a torrential downpour.
