Wilfrid adore pêcher.

ou qu'il fasse gris...

Dès l'arrivée de la saison de pêche, Wilfrid va pêcher tous les jours, à son retour du travail.

Il faut dire qu'il habite tout près.

Et aussi qu’il a un faible pour une des réceptionnistes du parc national, une jolie blonde du nom de Manon, et qu’il a hâte d’y aller chaque jour pour réserver sa sortie de pêche pour le lendemain (ICI).

Ensuite, il va pêcher, rêvant qu’un jour il aura le courage de la courtiser !

J'ai fabriqué les deux petites cannes à pêche. Les Barbie/Ken faisant la même taille que les lutins, elles serviront aux deux.

Si vous voulez en fabriquer une, voici ce qu'il vous faudra :

- une grande pique à brochette en bois, que vous affinerez du milieu jusqu'en haut en le grattant avec une lame de cutter. Coupez le bout de la pointe. Puis travaillez-un peu la tige pour lui donner une légère courbure.

- collez un petit cylindre pour représenter le moulinet ; J'ai utilisé une bobine de fil miniature que j'avais vidée de son contenu. Vous pouvez aussi découper un petit morceau de cheville en bois et y percer un trou pour y insérer la poignée (étape ci-dessous).

- coupez un morceau de fil de fer avec une pince coupante, et pliez le pour figurer la poignée du moulinet et collez-le dans le trou.

- collez perpendiculairement 4 petits anneaux de bijouterie à distance égale.

- peignez la canne à pêche en noir, et ajoutez du ruban de masquage pour figurer la poignée.

- enroulez du fil sur le moulinet, glissez le dans les anneaux, faites nœud sur le dernier anneau pour le tendre, coupez à la longueur voulue et ajoutez au bout deux perles pour figurer le flotteur.

- c'est fini. Maintenant, envoyez pêcher vos poupées !

I made the two little fishing rods. Since the Barbie/Ken dolls are the same size as the elves, they'll be used by both of them.
If you want to make one, here's what you'll need:
- A long wooden skewer, which you'll thin from the middle to the top by scraping it with a craft knife. Cut off the tip. Then shape the skewer slightly to give it a gentle curve.
- Glue on a small cylinder to represent the reel; I used a miniature spool of thread that I had emptied. You can also cut a small piece of wooden dowel and drill a hole in it to insert the handle (step below).
- Cut a piece of wire with wire cutters, bend it to represent the reel handle, and glue it in the hole.
- Glue four small jump rings perpendicularly at equal intervals.
- Paint the fishing rod black, and add masking tape to represent the handle.
- Wind some thread onto the reel, thread it through the rings, tie a knot on the last ring to tighten it, cut it to the desired length, and add two beads to the end to represent the float.
- That's it! Now, send your dolls fishing!
