Belle et sa belle-mère s'entendent à merveille (si si, ça arrive !) et Belle-Maman vient très souvent prendre le thé avec elle dans l'après-midi. Bien entendu, elles accompagnent leur thé de pâtisseries , ce qui n'aide en rien l'embonpoint que prend Belle durant sa grossesse !

Belle-Maman apporte souvent des petits cadeaux, soit pour Belle, soit pour les enfants. Il faut savoir que Belle-Maman est abonnée sur Facebook à un groupe "zen et yoga ayurvédique" où elle récupère parfois des idées bizarres. Une fois, c'était un kit de nettoyage tibétain pour le chien (?!). Une autre fois, c'était du savon au cacao énergisant. Il y eut aussi un porte-bougie en cristaux de sel, de l'huile de massage "d'harmonisation des chakras", un collier en bois de rose censé améliorer la circulation sanguine.

Belle est amusée par ces cadeaux et les accepte de bon cœur en la remerciant car elle aime beaucoup sa belle-mère et elle sait que cela lui fait plaisir.

Hier, Belle-Maman a lu un article où il était dit qu'il fallait développer très tôt l'esprit musical des enfants pour stimuler leur cortex cérébral. Elle s'est empressée d'aller acheter un xylophone pour son plus jeune petit-fils et l'a apporté cet après-midi.

Et pour ce qui est de développer son esprit musical, le jeune Andréc y met vraiment tout son cœur !!

À tel point que sa grand-mère elle-même finit par lui demander de taper moins fort ou bien d'aller faire de la musique dans le salon.

- Mais Grand-Mère, je suis obligé de rester là parce que je veux te montrer comment je m'amuse bien avec ton cadeau ! lui répond ingénument le gamin.

- Désolée ma chère, je ne pensais pas que ce petit xylophone avait une sonorité telle qu'elle nous gêne pour discuter, s'excuse la belle-mère.

- Oh, Belle-Maman, moi, ce qui m'inquiète le plus, c'est quand Andréa et Andréb vont rentrer de l'école et qu'ils vont vouloir l'essayer à leur tour ! répond Belle en souriant mais en faisant la grimace.

- Sois gentille, envoie les faire leur devoir avant qu'ils aient le droit de l'essayer, comme ça j'aurai le temps de rentrer chez moi avant d'avoir à les entendre, répond Belle-Maman en riant.

Il vaut mieux en effet ne pas avoir eu à supporter les essais du xylophone par nos deux coquins, sinon j'aurais volontiers fait comme Belle-Maman : j'aurais fui pendant qu'il en était encore temps !

The xylophone

Belle and her mother-in-law get along wonderfully (yes, it happens!) and Mother-in-law very often comes to have tea with her in the afternoon. Of course, they accompany their tea with pastries, which doesn't help Belle's weight gain during her pregnancy!
Kind Mother-in-law often brings small gifts, either for Belle or for the children. You should know that Belle-Maman subscribes to a “Zen and Ayurvedic yoga” group on Facebook where she sometimes finds weird gifts ideas. One time it was a Tibetan cleaning kit for the dog (?!). Another time it was energizing cocoa soap. There was also a salt crystal candle holder, “chakra harmonizing” massage oil, or a rosewood necklace supposed to improve blood circulation.
Belle is amused by these gifts and accepts them wholeheartedly, thanking her because she loves her mother-in-law very much and she knows that it pleases her.
Yesterday, Step-Mom read an article where it was said that it was necessary to develop children's musical spirit very early on to stimulate their cerebral cortex. She rushed to buy a xylophone for her youngest grandson and brought it this afternoon.
And about developing his musical spirit, young Andréc really puts his whole heart into it!!
So much so that his grandmother herself ended up asking him to knock less loudly or to go play music in the living room.
- But Grandma, I have to stay here because I want to show you how much fun I have with your gift! the kid replies ingenuously.

- Oh, Step-Mom, what worries me the most is when Andréa and Andréb will come home from school and they will want to try it too! Belle replies, smiling but making a face.
